DJC | FILM
I have worked in film in almost every capacity—as a director, editor, cinematographer, sound designer, graphic artist, re-recording mixer, and more. My directorial debut feature documentary "Behind the Curve" had its world premiere at HotDocs Film Festival in April, 2018 and will have its U.S. Premiere at the Los Angeles Film Festival in September, 2018. I have directed series for IFC, Funny or Die, and an independent television pilot, Cowards, which won “Best Comedy Pilot” at the New York Television Festival in 2014. In other roles, my past work has premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival (All Work All Play), Full Frame Documentary Festival (If You Build It), Chicago International Film Festival (30 for 30: Catholics vs. Convicts), and in theaters across the world. I also edited the Netflix series "Ugly Delicious" and the History Channel series "In Search Of" starring Zachary Quinto.
I studied music engineering and physics at Ball State University and received a masters from Syracuse University in Television, Radio & Film. When I'm not watching or making movies or TV, I am usually sitting at my drumset or catching up on esports.
